Legal Advice & Casework

Everyday problems — a tenancy notice, a benefit decision, a dispute at work — quickly become serious when nobody explains them. We sit down with people one to one and, where a matter runs on, stay with it as a piece of casework rather than a single conversation.

What we can help with

Typical support

  • Housing matters such as tenancies, disrepair and homelessness duties
  • Welfare and benefit decisions, reconsiderations and appeal stages
  • Employment issues including pay, contracts and dismissal processes
  • Writing letters, keeping records and tracking deadlines
  • Ongoing casework support until a matter reaches a resolution or referral

How the process usually runs

  1. 01

    Initial enquiry

Share the key dates and documents so we can see the shape of the problem.

  2. 02

    One-to-one session

We talk it through together and agree a practical plan of action.

  3. 03

    Ongoing casework

Where the matter continues, we stay involved and follow up with you.

We provide general information and practical support rather than advice on your individual circumstances. Where a matter needs regulated or specialist representation, we will tell you and help you find it.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us briefly what you are dealing with. We will explain the general position and, if you need a specialist, help you find one.
